My Story
As I've Entered the design field, I found it hard to find the right place where my work could be defined. I spent time at Oklahoma City University studying theatrical set design (not for me...), then applied to RISD for Fibers (also not for me...) and the list goes on.
What I realised the more I hunted for a good creative outlet is that design doesn't need to be labelled or defined.
I've loved learning all of the new tools and techniques that an Industrial Design education has shown me. These skills, in combination with a minor in Fashion design, has opened new avenues for me that I never could have imagined.
My goal is to continue to push the envelope of what my work can do, and keep blurring the lines between design houses. In the end of the day, I will always prioritize innovative and unique ideas that stretch the ways we typically see fashion, art, and product design.
I want to bring these ideas to more people, and help pave the way for the young designers of the future to keep innovating and to never let a label in the field stop them from blurring the lines too.
